Volunteers are the life of the church. It is through the time and talents of a church family that so many good works are achieved.

Here you will find a list of immediate volunteer needs in the church. Please take the time to read through it and contact us if something spikes your interest.

Children's Ministries:

Sunday School Workshop Leaders & Substitutes - Prepare and lead a workshop for a 4-week rotation. The leader is provided with a packet of information for leading the workshop. The same Bible theme is used for the entire 4-week rotation but, is presented to a different age group each week. Workshops include: cooking, science, games, drama/storytelling, music, video, computers, and art.
Time & Place: Sunday, 9:30-10:45 am, begins in Room 112.

Sunday School Shepards & Substitutes - An adult or older youth who builds a relationship with a small group of children. The Shepard leads the same group of children each week and brings them to the various workshops. The Shepard is not responsible for teaching but, may be asked to assist the workshop leader.

Wednesday Night Leader - Prepares and leads children in a Bible lesson using related activities and games. Curriculum to teach the lessons is provided.
Time & Place: Wednesday, 6:45-7:30 pm, Children's Wing

Wednesday Night Helper - Coordinates with the Wednesday Night Leader prior to class. Assists the Leader with activities during the class.

Substitute Senior High Sunday School Leader - Fills in for the regular Sunday school leader when he/she is out of town. Coordinates with the Sunday school leader to obtain curriculum and information about how to prepare for the class.
Time & Place: Various Sundays, 9:45-10:45 am, Room 100

Church Office:

Newsletter Delivery - Delivers the monthly newsletter to the bulk mail Post Office (located near the airport) for delivery. Coordinates pick-up time with the church office staff.
Time: Monthly (usually near the end of the month)

Benevolence:

Foodbank Donations Collector - A volunteer is needed to take donated food from the Fellowship Hall following the 8:30 worship service and place it in the collection area for Second Harvest Food Bank.
Time & Place:  Sunday 9:30 am (takes about 15 minutes) from Fellowship Hall to downstairs Kitchen
